Comfortable, low-budget property. Functional, spacious unit with good Equipment, a nice view, as example. Remote location, not too far from Anyoin Temple.

The hotel was in a remote location in the entire Temple. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay, my room was magical with beautiful view, a bathroom with shower, for example.

Authentic experience, with traditional Japanese vegetarian cuisine. Location is excellent, with easy access to main attractions. The room was nicer than expected, with a spacious layout and comfortable futons.
Price is steep for basic accommodations. Common area bathrooms need better cleaning.

We had a wonderful stay at this temple in Koyasan. The food was exquisite and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. The morning prayer ceremony was a unique and humbling experience, allowing us to observe the monks in their daily rituals. The temple's proximity to the Okuno-in cemetery and the bus stop was very convenient. Despite being a monastery, the lodging provided us with ample heating and comfortable accommodations. we were very happy with our stay at Sekishoin.
No complaints whatsoever. 😊

Respectful staff and nice accommodation. Location near to both Koyasan and the sacred graveyard and the 1200-year-old Okunoin cemetery. Also, to a monastery in Europe.
Not so clean bathroom.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming temple accommodation nestled amidst the tranquil beauty of nature. The hotel's location, near the mesmerizing Ukono-in cemetery entrance, offered a truly breathtaking experience. The rooms were cozy and well-appointed, with the added bonus of a small patio overlooking the stunning gardens. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a delightful stay. The breakfast, which was included in the room rate, provided a tasty start to the day.
This hotel provided a wonderful experience with no major areas for improvement.
